And before you have decided upon your packaging your labels, your pricing and all those things. I ask them - "Are you in real Estate?" Then you should begin to advertise when you buy your plot. When you are planning your first meeting with the architect that is the time to start marketing. Before you begin your excavation work. Before you begin plotting.By all these replies what I mean is just this that from the first moment you think of having a product or a service that you want to sell or promote, You should start marketing.Business people defer all thought of advertising and marketing until their products or services are already ready or manufactured and they are ready to go into a market. You should start much, much, much before that.Let's take an example that you are planning to market a product or you're planning to introduce a new product in the market - say six months down the line. Now, when is the best time to start marketing and advertising? When it's 10 days from your launch? Or when it is launching day of your product? Or it is six months, three months, five months before you are launching the product?I would suggest the best way is to start at least five to six months before a major launch.You are investing so much in manufacturing, designing your product. Then why not invest the same time same, efforts and the same money in making sure that that product will see the day of the light it will become very successful.But that can happen only when you are marketing &amp; advertising it much much before it's launching. Many times it has happened that by the time you launch your product it will get sold or it will get oversold if you have done proper marketing prior to your product launches. On the other hand 98, 99% of the launches of product services, clinics, shops fail because there is no marketing before introducing it to the market.There are no people who are eagerly waiting for that product to come. There is nobody who is aware of that product. That 'Know - Like - Trust' stages never come in that products life or in that service life. First People have to be aware of your product and services. Then they will start liking that product. And after that, once they start trusting your product, your services or you - then they will start buying.If you're waiting till launching day to start advertising and to start marketing, then it is going to take some time for your target customers to know your product; to like your product and to trust your product. So it's always better to start your marketing before you start putting that product in your store or putting that service in your business; before offering that service in your service business. When you follow this methodology, then it creates momentum. It creates excitement. It creates enthusiasm among the people who could be your very good prospects or very good customers. They will be eagerly waiting for your product.And that makes it almost assured that your product will be a great success. Your service will be a great success.Another thing is there are so many people involved in launching a product or a service or starting a business in addition to you.There might be your salespeople; there might be your marketing people; there might be production people; there might be designing people; there might be admin people. All these different team members will become very excited when they are exposed to all the marketing plans, all the advertising ideas that you have that you will be introducing before launching. So if by mistake there is any flaw, there is any overlooked important aspect of your product or service then you will catch it beforehand. That could save you lots and lots of money &amp; headaches. once you have already done your research; you perfected your product or service, then at the same time you should think of developing an attractive package, attractive offer, attractive marketing pieces. You should consider how you're going to promote that while others are working on other aspects. If you fail to do this it's going to hurt your business a lot. A very simple solution to this is market every day. Advertise everyday. Promote everyday.&nbsp;And start it from 3 to 6 months earlier to gain the best advantage.
