There are certain things you need to be ready for, be ready to change for that will make you qualify for this program.
Every one of my doctor client has to take a test to see if he or she is ready for ReInventing yet or not.
I have created a test which tell me if they are ready.
Here’s the test if you wish to take it and check for yourself
Don’t worry, all you have to do is answer yes or no for the following questions:
Are You ready?
1. Do you still enjoy seeing each patient just the way you met your 1st patient on your 1st day of your practice? Yes o No o
2. Do you go on vacations – multiple times of year - when you need breaks from your patients? Yes o No o
3. Are you able to do what you want to do without any restrictions about money? Yes o No o
4. Are you able to do what you want to do without any restrictions about time? Yes o No o
5. When you wake up in the morning, do you look forward going to your practice? Yes o No o
6. At the end of the day, you feel excited while going home? Yes o No o
7. Do you see first patient of the day & last patient of the day with same excitement? Yes o No o
8. Do you enjoy your practice everyday? Yes o No o
9. Are you adding new skills, new technology or equipment to your practice at least every 5 years? Yes o No o
10. Do you attend workshops, courses every year which are NOT compulsory for CME points? Yes o No o
If you are uncomfortable in answering these questions then that is understandable.
But remember, nobody is going to see the answers unless you share it. So answer all of these without worrying.
Now, we are not going to score you based on the answers. These questions are there to start a new thinking process in your mind. There are no right or wrong answers. All I want you to asses now at this time is to see if you are ready to re-invent your practice or not!
A thumb rule to check your score
If you have answered No to more than three questions, then now is the time to start with RIYP.
If you have answered No to more than 6 questions, then that’s a warning for you that it’s high time to change.
If you have answered yes to most of the questions then you don’t need RIYP. Give this letter to your good friend and go and enjoy.
